Volunteering with My Cancer My Choices

At MCMC, we’re dedicated to empowering people with cancer by providing complementary therapies to relieve the side effects of cancer and its treatment. By joining our award-winning team, you become an integral part of this mission, contributing directly to the positive impact and enhanced wellbeing that our complementary therapies provide to those living with cancer, and developing your knowledge and skills in a supportive environment. We couldn’t do what we do without our wonderful volunteers.

By volunteering for us, you will be making a huge difference to the lives of people living with cancer; joining a caring and sociable community of volunteers and staff, where you will feel a sense of connection and a shared mission, and the opportunity to develop your professional skills and knowledge.

Fundraising Support

Finding the means to help us keep going

We wouldn’t be able to offer the support that we do without the time, energy and enthusiasm of our fundraising volunteers.

Our fundraising team are integral to our success, representing us in the community and helping us raise essential funds and awareness for our mission to empower people with cancer.

There are lots of ways you can get involved, from joining our Fundraising Events Committee, planning and executing our flagship fundraising events such as our gala dinner and golf day, to flexible, ad hoc support where you can give time as it suits you. Examples of flexible fundraising support include:

• Helping at a specific event or events

• Sharing a charity campaign on to local groups on social media

• Writing a Google or Facebook review for the charity

• Voting for MCMC in a local funding or community award scheme

•Leaving a testimonial or story for use in our marketing

• Suggesting local groups or contacts for outreach

• Baking or crafting

• Seeking auction and raffle prizes

• Looking after a collecting tin in your local shop or pub

• Putting up our posters in your local area.

Please complete the application form and submit to bookings@mycancermychoices.org, or get in touch with our fundraising team for more details
